Nicole Mata, the visionary behind Delamata Designs, has cultivated a distinguished career in the design industry. Growing up in Arlington, VA, near the vibrant atmosphere of Washington, DC, Nicole’s passion for design led her to The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. There, she pursued a double major in Fashion Merchandising Marketing and Display and Exhibit Design, ultimately discovering her true calling in creating impactful and captivating displays.

Upon graduating, Nicole gained recognition for her expertise by designing sophisticated store displays for renowned retailers such as Nordstrom and Crate & Barrel. Her skills also attracted the attention of a prominent event planner, resulting in her involvement in designing high-profile events for Broadway premieres and prestigious corporate galas.

Building on her extensive experience, Nicole founded Delamata Designs, where she has successfully merged her diverse interests into a comprehensive design consultancy. Serving a growing clientele across Manhattan and beyond, Nicole's work spans innovative retail environments, elegant event spaces, and inspiring commercial interiors. After relocating to Westchester, NY, following the birth of her second son, Nicole has continued to deliver exceptional design solutions for private clients and businesses alike.

Nicole's recent venture, This & That Vintage reflects her renewed passion for history and fashion. Through this boutique, she celebrates and revives vintage styles, seamlessly blending her design expertise with a love for historical aesthetics.
